For over twenty-five years, David Crook co-owned and operated Crook Associates LLC, a specialty residential and commercial painting business. The company's work included hand finishing and spray finishing architectural design details, Italian plaster finishing, and faux paint finishing as well.  David had the opportunity to work with gifted artisans, craftsmen, architects, and designers, and he was exposed to exquisite artwork, decor and architecture. These unique experiences piqued his interest in design and home furnishings which later developed into a recreational passion for both David and his wife Robin.

After retiring his painting and finishing business, it seemed fitting that the couple combine their fascination for the art of design with David's finishing expertise and detailed-oriented mind.

Hence Orange sofa Upholstery and Designs was created.
